What is The Big Picture?

The Big Picture is a global think tank and professional collective for creative arts educators, artists and big-picture thinkers who believe creativity belongs at the heart of education.
In a world being rapidly reshaped by technology, AI, social change and new ways of thinking and working, creative education has never mattered more.
Yet too often, the people championing creativity in our schools and communities are working in isolation — separated by disciplines, institutions, countries and systems.
The Big Picture exists to connect those voices and create a bigger conversation.
Through global forums, live conversations, collaborative projects, guest thinkers and events, we bring together diverse perspectives to question established thinking, explore the challenges facing creative education and imagine what its future could look like.
This isn't simply a place to swap lesson plans or collect classroom resources.
It's a space to ask bigger questions, challenge ideas, advocate for the value of creative education and strengthen its collective voice globally.
Because the future needs people who can imagine what doesn't exist yet — and creative educators have an important role in shaping that future.
Who is it for?
Creative educators, arts leaders, makers, designers, media specialists, innovators and big-picture thinkers working across schools, universities, community settings and the wider creative industries.
If you believe creativity has a vital role to play in shaping education and the future, The Big Picture is for you.

About Us
The Creative Process was founded by Australian Arts educator and innovation leader Aly Trezise, drawing on extensive international experience across Malaysia, China, the Philippines, Tanzania, Hong Kong, the UK and Ireland.
Having worked across Visual Arts, creative learning and innovation leadership, Aly has seen first-hand both the extraordinary impact creative educators have within schools and the professional isolation they can often experience.
The Creative Process brings educators together across borders to share ideas, strengthen practice, spark new thinking and celebrate the people helping creativity thrive in education.
Our collective will continue to grow through collaboration with experienced educators, artists and creative leaders from around the world.
